Friends School received the Welcoming Schools’ Seal of Excellence for having exemplarily completing all training modules and incorporated lesson plans and resources in each classroom.
HRC Foundation’s Senior Director of Programs and Partnerships Ellen Kahn proudly presented the SOE to Friends School in Louisville, Kentucky. We are excited to continue advancing LGBTQ+ equality in their classrooms, serving as an example of the inclusion and affirmation for other schools looking to serve their LGBTQ+ students.
