What inspired you to become an educator, and what keeps you inspired?
I've always loved to interact with other people, especially little ones. To explore the world through a child's eyes is my ultimate inspiration. What keeps me inspired is to see your students grow with you, and to know you are able to touch their lives as their teacher and hopefully make a positive impact.
If you could summarize your teaching philosophy, what would it be?
Social and Emotional Learning is the foundation of ALL academic learning.
What skills do you feel are most important for your students to develop, to prepare them for life beyond Friends School?
It's a complete mix of all areas, social and emotional development along with more academic parts as math, reading and writing. You need to grow as a whole to reach your fullest potential.
